I was born in 1958, MEXICO
According to my parents I showed early aptitude for drawing. I remember my first drawing at age 8: "Astro Boy" ( "Atom") that I drew with chalk everywhere.
My of 10 years birthday gift was a set box of watercolors and my first watercolor was a cow's caricature .
In high school, I attended the course "painting and engraving" for three years attending classes with the maestros Basurto, Cuaxiloa and Bravo Zacaula and I spend my spare time practicing with the maestro Barber.
In college I published the school newspaper plaguing it with cartoons, mainly political with , my brother by choice Xavier Fierro an excellent artist.
I decided to study medicine. During the University, I worked as cartoonist in the "The Saltapericos" magazine and at the newspaper "La Opinión de Puebla".
I won a first place in the 1977 state painting contest and I designed the mural project for the Faculty of Medicine, which sadly did not take effect for lack of funds and sponsors.
Years later and married, my family and my career as a doctor and anesthesiologist consumed all my time and effort. But I contrived to illustrate the S. Alvarado MD book "EDUCATING TENDERLY" in 2002 .
Having painted on almost any surface (fabric, glass, wood, rock, etc.) and various materials (watercolor, ink, oil, acrylic, pyrography, etc.) I felt that the painting had nothing to give me... Then I found the bodypaint on Internet.
The opportunity to paint on a living canvas an ephemeral artwork became an obsession. In 2012 I wished to take a course with the teacher Marisol García but again my job as a doctor would not let me.
When Marisol realized how much I was interested in learning, he agreed to give us a particular course to me the mother of my children (excellent artist as well) in 2013. Then I designed the "Coyolxauhqui Redeemed" which was painted by 4 artists. A masterpiece that I'm very proud.
The next, 2014 year, Me and my sister attended an advanced course with Marisol.
I am a member of the World Bodypainting Association since September 2016.
Currently, I try as far as my time and financial resources allow me, to perform a bodypaint every 2 or 3 months.
Since September 2016 I am a teacher of BodyPaint at the MUSAS Institute of Art and I'm intend to create a society to promote this art in my country.
